Separation issues

If Manny gets panicky, try taking him to his safe place, which is my bed (i.e. the bed in the smaller of the two bedrooms). If he's really bad then please take a short video of him at his most panicky for me to send to the separation trainer.

I'll be giving both dogs diazepam before we leave, so they might seem dozy and/or uncoordinated. (Especially Louie. Manny's relatively unaffected by diazepam, for no known reason - possibly because he's a thylacine.)

Food

Kibble for Manny - three or four of the little cups that are in the big kibble container.

Kibble for Louie - two or three of those little cups.

Those are totals, including both treats and dinner. They're just a rough guide - don't stress about the amount in either direction.

They can also have two toothbrush-shaped chews each, and one small bag of popcorn each, and tiny taxes of whatever food you have. (I know you know what's poisonous for dogs!)

Afternoon meds

Just before the afternoon walk, Louie usually gets peanut butter with gabapentin (for his injury) and Manny usually gets peanut butter with Apoquel (for allergies). I've mixed those and put them in little plastic containers in the fridge. If they don't get their meds for any reason, that's not a disaster.

Emergency phone numbers

See text messages. (Also see text messages for the wifi password.)

Humans

Make yourselves totally at home. Eat, drink and use anything you want. If you want coffee, you'll have to use the Aeropress - if you've never used one you can look up how to use it on the web.

Water

The dogs are allowed water. I guess I'm running out of things to write.
