Animal Sentience A Sc
Current project statement
Fiddle with this as much as you like, and keep it up to date as your ideas change. Also do whatever you like with this page (Animal Sentience ASC) and with Jo Davies.
Jobs for Jo
Look for animal sentience in Philosopher’s Index and PhilPapers. — both found at http://anulib.anu.edu.au/search/e-resources/index.html?letter=P
Concentrate on whichever of those you find most helpful. Let Jason know if neither of them is helpful.
Play with different search words if “animals sentience” seems to be getting too little or too much.
Make some sort of list or database of titles and notes (not notes on everything! just on whatever looks most interesting).
Think about what assessment you prefer. (Assessment on this sort of thing is usually a single essay, but really anything is OK with me. It’s just occurred to me that we could assess your literature search itself if you like, even if it’s a database or rough notes. Or plasticine models. Whatever. Jason)

Jobs for Jason
Once Jo’s had an initial think about which bits of the literature she prefers, find a second examiner and make sure the project’s going in a direction that’s going to make sense to them. (Jason’s note to self: possibilities might include Karola, Paul, Clare.)
Submit the ASC form, not toooooo late.
