Fall Fans And Arts Students

I’m taking up Jason’s claim that we can post almost anything on this forum.

So, does anybody know of the (the band) the fall? If you do, you’ll find the clip below hilarious and completely accurate.

If you haven’t heard of them, then replace “fall fans” with “arts students” and you should get the same effect.

So here’s a question somewhat related to this forum: why is it that (some) arts students (and I’m one) tend to need to prove themselves intellectually more than science students? I’ve had way too many tutorials (particularly in art history and philosophy) that have been totally derailed by a few fragile egos and the constant threat of a tangential discussion of god knows which French philosopher. Science students, by contrast, seem a little more humble. Not to mention more genuinely interested in the subject…why is that?

The guy with the axe has a point about slates; that is a great album.
